Shelby Reynolds is the owner and manager of Grand Traverse Natural Health Care.
She specializes in integrative massage therapy and craniosacral therapy, blending various modalities to help your body unravel the underlying causes of symptoms and restore wholeness. Her work is rooted in listening deeply in the present moment and tapping into your body’s innate ability to heal.
Shelby began her studies of healing and the human experience at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology. Her foundational bodywork education is from New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, where she completed the 1000 hour Holistic Massage Therapy Program in 2003. Shelby continued her bodywork studies with International Alliance of Healthcare Educators, studying Visceral Manipulation with the Barral Institute and Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.
At the core of all of these practices is the importance of listening to the body’s wisdom and mindfully working with fascia to improve physical functioning.
Shelby offers integrative massage therapy, Craniosacral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, prenatal massage and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy.
With modalities ranging from deep barefoot massage to gentle Craniosacral therapy, Shelby will help you choose which is best suited for your individual needs at each session.
